Description of service
The service I received was for the Karate classes, taken with a self defense emphasis.I paid $150 for 2 sessions a week for a month. They offer yearly dues or monthly, depending on the level of the class and how long you remain in the class. The fee included just the cost for Karate classes. The uniform was available for an additional cost, not required but preferred.Limited street clothes were accepted.
Review of Service
I feel I have learned a lot not only about Karate but the history and culture behind it.I have learned in just a short time to handle myself with more confidence then before.I loved the way they have everyone on the same level of learning and everyone moves together.nobody was left out.The only thing I would say I disliked was not able to have one on one sessions, but I paid a great fee for this lesson and was happy with the results .
Tips
I recommend observing a class before committing to a membership, as well as other tips on choosing a school. Beginning students should feel comfortable with the instructor's attitude and the experience levels of other students. Some branches of the YMCA offer karate classes for $50 a month or less for adult members,I would also suggest looking in your local community to see if they offer classes and discounts to local residents.
