Description of service
Recently I was jumped near my home and robbed for everything I had on me. I tried to fight back, but was over powered by what seemed like a smaller person. I don't exersize much and I felt like I had to do something if I couldn't even defend myself, let alone my family. I signed up for Karate classes, which ended up helping me relax as well as get the needed exersize. The total cost per month for this service is $150. I go to class once a week, on a sunday for two hours each session.
Review of Service
I have been going for about eight months now, but I haven't gotten to test the results, and hopefully I never will, but I really feel like I have learned a lot and have gotten in much better shape. I'm not out there picking a fight, but i think I'll be ready if that day comes. I checked around to different dojos and have found that the price I pay is just about right for the service I get.
Tips
Don't get martial arts lessons for the wrong reasons. The number one thing NOT to do is to learn a deadly skill and they go out and try to use it just to see if it works. If you can't afford classes, look online for video tutorials and how-tos for amateur training.
