Description of service
I am very fair-skinned, so I thought a spray tan would help me look "healthier" for a wedding I was attending.
Review of Service
The tanning salon was neat and clean, however the attendant was not very interested in helping me. She was young, bored, and seemed put out by my questions. Since this was my first spray tan experience, I wanted to be sure I did it right. Her instructions were very short and fast, and when I asked her to repeat it, she gave a big sigh and quickly said it again. Needless to say, I was not happy with the results. I had streaks on my legs and my face and neck appeared quite a bit darker than my arms.
The spray booth was clean but there were no directions posted. I only had my memory to go on, which didn't help matters!
Tips
If you ask questions and the attendant is not helpful, ask for a refund and go somewhere else. Ask friends for referrals. Make sure you shower and loofa before you go since dry skin will absorb the dye and then flake off leaving patches.
While I might try spray tanning again, I will ask questions before I pay. I may look into the more costly air brushing technique since a person with experience will apply it (at least I hope they have experience!)
