Description of service
I went into my regular tanning salon intending to get a regular tan. By regular, I mean lying in the tanning beds. The owner was there and he told me they had just gotten in the spray tan machine; would I like to try it? I figured why not? The spray tan is supposed to be safer any way, so I figured what the heck, I'll give it a shot.
I was instructed to strip down, put on a hair hat to protect my hair and to apply lotion to my hands and feet to keep from staining my nails. It was a very quick spray, front and back and I was done. I was then instructed to wipe off any excess tanning spray and I was done. The price for the tan was twenty eight dollars.
Review of Service
I feel like it was a really cool way to tan. Fast, painless and safe, however, the tanning spray did rub off on my clothes and sheets and I didn't get as tan as I would have liked. I think the spray tan is a bit overpriced for the result you get.
Tips
I would tell eveyone to try the spray tan since it is safer than the sun or tanning beds. Maybe other people would get a better result than me and it certainly does not hurt to try. I wish I had known that it is not a good idea to shower and apply body lotion before you spray tan. This is probably why I did not get a great tan; now I will know better next time.
