Description of service
I never had a spray on tan before, but I went to a tanning shop, the lady was lovely and I went in a private booth. Took 60 seconds and barrier cream and a hairnet were free. I have a lovely tan, but when I bathed my baby, I got little splashes all over me and it streaked! However, I've gently dabbed the streaks, and I'm looking 'even' again now. Hadn't realized how fragile the tan is but it's safer than sunbeds. You want to pick a good sunless tanner or you could end up ruining your clothes and looking orange. Don't put to many layers on at one time.
One time I was at cheerleading tryouts & I had to holdup another girl while she was trying to do a handstand and I had to hold her legs up and she was like 20-30 lbs. Bigger then me and so I pretty much had to use my whole body to hold her up and when I let her down I had orange stuff all over my hands and clothes and then I noticed her clothes were covered in orange stuff too and then i noticed how orange she was. It was embarrassing and i felt bad for her. you really really don't want that to happen to you
Review of Service
I went to a salon for a spray on tan and the girl at the counter didn't tell me all the right things to do before going in the booth and my palms go all orange, and my feet too.
So if you go to a salon for a spay tan, be sure you ask for specific directions. I think some salon even have a spray on tan tips sheet?
Anyway, they have what is called barrier cream you are supposed to put on your palms and around the bottom of your feet. Plus they have nose plugs and a hair net. You can even wear booties.
I know all this now after trial and error no thanks to the salon staff. But I like it now :-)
Tips
So if you go to a salon for a spay tan, be sure you ask for specific directions. I think some salon even have a spray on tan tips sheet? Just apply, get dressed and in several hours get ready to show off your new healthy sun kissed, bronze tan to the world. Dries in seconds, no orange streaks, no mess, and no smell.
