Description of service
My sister and I ordered chinese food for lunch. We ordered the basic lunch special platters, and requested delivery. We knew from ordering from there before that it was a two dollar delivery charge. But due to the heat and the gas prices we choose to just pay the two dollars.
Review of Service
We were told it would take 15-20 mins to have the food delivered. It took 25 mins, but it wasn't really a big deal. We paid 18 for the food, plus two dollars for delivery, and another four dollars for a tip. The food was hot and delicious.
Tips
Always remember to inquire if there is a delivery charge even if it is not printed on the menu. The restaurant we usually order from does not have the charge on their menu, but we know from ordering from them in the past that they charge for delivery. I think some places do this so they can change the delivery charge as needed depending on gas prices. So always ask, because there may be a charge tacked on and you don't even know it. Also always remember that a delivery charge is not the same as tipping the driver. Its always good practice to tip your driver to ensure that you get the best service.
