Description of service
This is the price we pay to have chinese food delivered from our favorite local chinese restaurant. The price includes the cost of the food (pork fried rice is six dollars, fried won tons are four dollars, and two egg drop soups are six dollars), a two dollar tip, a five dollar delivery fee, and taxes. So, the actual cost for the delivery service is five dollars plus a two dollar tip. The delivery time is generally anywhere between thirty minutes and one hour depending on the time of day.
Review of Service
The delivery people for this restaurant are always very friendly and efficient. The times for delivery are also fairly quick. The food is always packaged well and all condiments and eating utensils are included. However, the delivery fee is very high in my opinion. We would normally refuse to order from a restaurant with such a high delivery fee, but we really love their food and the customer service is excellent. So, we continue to pay the lofty delivery cost.
Tips
Call around to your local asian restaurants to find out if they deliver. Make sure you ask about any delivery fees so you will not be surprised with a higher than expected total.
