the Price of Chinese Food Delivery

When I lived in Colorado there was this little chinese restaurant we always ordered from. The food was excellent and they always overstuffed your plate. You had enough food for a week with just one meal. They delivered to your house with a minimum 10 dollar purchase. They gave you a time limit and were never late delivering the food. I believe it was family owned so you usually always had the same delivery person. It gave it a personal touch. You could converse with the person and it wouldn't be awkward because you already knew each other.

The restaurant is top notch as far as service goes. The lady who answers the phone always takes the time to make offers to you to compliment your meal. She repeats the order back to make sure it is correct. She confirms delivery time and gives a total balance. Your food is delivered as soon as it is prepared. The food is always warm when it is delivered. The delivery person does not stand at your door expecting a tip, like most places do. Of course we have always tipped but it is nice for someone not to expect it.

It is good to experiment with different restaurants to find the one you like the best. Ask friends for recommendations. Check the yellow pages for restaurants that have full or half page ads, they usually provide a sample menu.
