the Price of Christmas Portraits

I went to get Christmas pictures of my two nieces and nephew. They took multiple photos of them as a group, and individually. I was able to sit down a pick what pictures I liked and what sort of frame I wanted.

I ended up getting a package that had 1 8x10, 2 4x5s and a sheet of wallets. Also, a framed picture that held 4 8x10s, one was a group photo and then one 8x10 of each of the kids. The total for it all was 288.00. I also got access to a website where I could order more prints, of all the photos taken.

Overall, the service was very good. The photographer was very experienced and kid friendly. Although the kids were a bit difficult, she still captured them smiling, and put them in a lot of different poses. They also had different props and backgrounds you could use as well. She was very clear going over all the options I had. I wasn't expecting to pay that much but it was well worth the service.

Be very firm on what you want, often times they will try to sell you higher packages. If you go in wanting just an 8x10, stick to it! Also, if you have ideas for pictures, feel free to share them with the photographer.
