Description of service
The photographer was to meet us at two different, outdoor locations of our choosing. She was to shoot 4 rolls of film. Some poses would be our whole family and others were just of our daughter alone. We would receive a disk with all of the photos on it as well as a disk with edited versions of each. And we would receive the rights to re-produce them however we wanted.
Review of Service
It was wonderful! The photographer was happy to work at one location and then travel with us to another place. She worked so well with our cranky toddler. And also worked around a last minute clothing problem that we encountered. My husband somehow managed to get ink on his shirt and she managed to cover it in every shot. She was very aware of things like collars being up or sunglasses on my head! She made sure to check the little things before each shot. We received our copy of the original photos that same night and the edited versions soon after.
Tips
Before you hire an expensive photographer, ask around to your friends and family. You will be shocked at how many of them know someone who has a small photography business on the side. You can often get the same quality from these business as you can from larger businesses (who charge much more) simply because these people don't see it as a full-time job and aren't trying to make a living off of it. They just have their business simply because it's what they enjoy doing!
