Last year my wife decided that she wanted to send out a formal family portrait with the Christmas cards, so we visited a professional photographer in order to have him take a picture of our family dressed in our Christmas outfits. The photographer had a series of props, and backgrounds, taking 20 different pictures. He let us chose our picture after sending us the proofs, and provided 100 3 x 5 prints.
Review of Service
The photographer was very friendly, and had lots of props and backgrounds to make it seem like Christmas even though it was early October. He did a good job of providing advise and suggestions in order to make our Christmas picture look great, and the quality of the pictures he provided us with were great, and he had them finished before he said that he would, letting us get our Christmas cards out early for the first time in years.
Tips
You need to schedule a time which is late enough so that there are Christmas items in the store, and Christmas clothes in order to make the portrait realistic and Christmas themed, while at the same time early enough to get the pictures finished in time to include in the cards.
