the Price of Christmas Portraits

I paid for a Christmas portraits package from a local Los Angeles photographer. This independent photographer negotiated with me to create a custom portrait package. I paid a two hour minimum fee of $250 to have a photographer come to my house and take pictures of my family. I spent another $200 on 40 prints and photo editing fees. I did receive two free 8x10 prints for each hour that I had booked, online proofs and a high resolution CD with all of the picture files on it.

I was very happy with the airbrushing techniques used for my Christmas portraits. I looked flawless and my family and friends loved the photos. The photographer was excellent and I would definitely choose him again for my anniversary pictures. The prints are gorgeous and not put on flimsy paper like at large chains. The lighting set up at my house only took fifteen minutes and I was very pleased with the quality and experience.

Working alongside a photographer to edit your photos to your liking is worth the price. Independent photographers are also very willing to work out a rate that fits your budget. A photographer who posts online proofs makes it convenient for you to select which photos you want printed and the process can be done right at home.
