My husband and I had our Christmas pictures taken this last year since I was expecting and thought it would be a good time to start our family pictures tradition. We went and had them done and had just a basic price in mind, we even had one of those $9.95 package coupons. Well they had talked us into $30 worth by the time we left. When I went back 4 weeks later to pick them up they had sent additional photos, but not for free. I didn't want pictures of us floating around out there so I bought them for the additional $20.
Review of Service
I wasn't happy about the "surprise" photos they had for us when I went to pick up the pictures. In my opinion when I order my pictures thats what I want, don't push me into buying more. I was upset with them about this. When I go to other places now I make sure they aren't going to do that, I pay upfront and let them know to not push me into anything else.
Tips
Make sure they aren't going to pull any fast ones on you by knowing that companies will do this. I tell them ahead of time not to send anything other then what I ordered and if they do try to send some additional pictures that I will take that as them giving me free pictures since I have requested they not do it. That tends to get my point through pretty well.
