Description of service
We paid $30 per hour for 6 weeks of clarinet lessons for our daughter. The $30 was for one hour, once a week for 6 weeks. The total came to $180 for all of the lessons combined, although we paid on a weekly basis.
Review of Service
We were excited for our daughter to start learning how to play an instrument, but quickly realized that the clarinet should not be her instrument of choice. But, we had already committed to six weeks worth of lessons, so we made her stick it out. Her instructor was very skilled at playing the clarinet. She had been section leader in her college campus band. She was also very patient with our daughter, which I really appreciated because it is hard to teach someone how to play an instrument when they do not practice that often.
Tips
When looking for music lessons for your son or daughter, you really should let them look at a bunch of different instruments to determine the right fit for them. I wouldn't force music lessons on them. You could try to get them interested, but if they are not then you will just be wasting a lot of your time and money. It's hard to force a child to practice an instrument.
