Description of service
This was the second time i was taking professional learning lessons for clarinet. As opposed to earlier when i joined semi private lessons, this time i went in for fully private clarinet classes. I hired a teacher who came to my place on Mondays and Thursdays. Each lesson lasted for almost one and half hour. He charged me $30 per lesson.
Review of Service
I believe that this time i got real value for money. The teacher was a very good one. We started with some revision of the basics. I believe that going was a bit easier for this teacher as i already knew the basics slightly. But still we started with a revision of the basics. What i liked the most about this teacher was that he laid too much stress on my comfort. Whenever he felt that that i was not comfortable with any particular scale. he would himself make the scale a bit easier and interesting for me by helping me in playing a song on that scale.
Tips
Do not opt for a music school as they charge you too much and give very little in return. There are a lot of good independent teachers. Do a little bit of research work on the teacher before finally deciding to join any particular teacher.
