Description of service
We took a 2 hour candle making class. The cost was $85 and that included the 2 hour class and all of the materials we needed as well.
Review of Service
I did learn a lot from this class and am glad I took it. It was a pretty small class size, with only 9 of us. The teacher was very experienced and definitely knew what she was talking about. However, I'm not sure how confident she was with teaching. She obviously had a very specific lesson plan in mind and when you asked questions along the way she got flustered and would often ignore the question.
Our candles did come out great and the teacher not only gave us the materials we needed for the candles we made, they shared some information on how to get our own materials for the best price, which I found useful. We did leave the class with 3 different types of completed candles so all in all I would say that it was worth it.
Tips
Try to find a class that includes the materials with the cost. Otherwise you will end up running all over town, trying to find the specific things you need. This can be frustrating when you aren't familiar with candle making materials and terms.
