Description of service
I took a Judo class for a quarter at a community college located in Hayward, CA. The class is not very large about 20 people and the class size gets gradually smaller as the quarter progresses. The classes are located between the pool and the racquetball courts. Judo is a mix between wrestling and ju-jitsu.
Review of Service
This was an excellent class even though I don't have a really strong interest in Judo. There really is no other cost effective way of wanting to learn martial arts then taking classes through your local community college. Essentially for the same cost of one private lesson at a private Judo, you are getting classes for a whole quarter of the year. It's also a great way to meet other people in the community who may wish to practice outside of class.
Tips
Especially if you think you are planning on entering the world of mixed martial arts or even wrestling in high school or college, I would strongly recommend taking Judo classes. If you are looking for a cost effective and fun way of doing it, I would strongly recommend you take classes here or if it is not locationally convenient try and find a community college in your area that offers these classes.
