Description of service

The cost of $179 includes a one time registration fee at the judo school, as well as the first month's membership. The $100 registration fee does not include any work out wear, or apparel, which I found unusual for a martial arts school. The $79 per month fee guarantees access to at least two classes per week that you sign up for, and access to unlimited classes after that in an "as space permitting" basis.

Review of Service

I have tried many different group exercise sessions, often times with one month membership, and then moving on. However, I think that Judo is something I am going to stick with for a while. It is a good group of people at the school, and the instructors do an amazing job making sure that everyone is involved and learning what they are teaching in that particular lesson. The classes never feel too crowded, and I have never had a problem taking extra classes in a week.

Tips

The one downside with judo is that you will come home with bruises sometimes, while safety is important, it is full contact, so be sure to be prepared for that. It is also important to be in halfway decent shape before joining up, so you can more easily keep up with your class.
