Description of service
Training and instruction in many different types of martial arts, including Judo, for all ages and all skill levels.
I took a really lame one time judo class.
Review of Service
This was one of the lamest classes I ever took. I am always looking for a different type of class, even a bunch of different beginner classes, because I always like to try new things. This class certainly didn't seem new in any way. I am not sure what the instructor's qualifications were, but he was more a burned-out hippie than a Judo instructor. His technique, based on other Judo Masters I have seen, was horrible, and looked like something he learned out of a book at the library. I would have saved myself five dollars by checking a book out at the library myself on Judo, or watching an instructional video that I could have rented, and not subjected myself to the guy's Confucionisms (which have NOTHING to do with Judo), and saved me from having to hear the guy laugh at his own jokes. It was a joke in and of itself, and a complete waste of my time. Fortunately the first introductory lesson was offered at such a low price, or else I would have been a lot more aggravated.
Tips
This guy is the reason I always recommend finding low or no-cost first lessons, so you aren't wasting too much money, and are only out one hour of time for a beginner lesson. Find places that offer a free first lesson, or low cost, and you are bound to find somebody or something you really like and want to stick with.
