the Price of Italian Cooking Classes

This is the price I paid for an Italian cooking class as a birthday present to my mother. The price is per student and includes all fees and supplies associated with the class. The class consists of four sessions that meet once per week for two hours. The class is taught at a local culinary school by a local professional chef and restaurant owner. The students make a new appetizer, main dish, and dessert every week and then sample their results. There are about ten students in each class.

I decided to take the class with my mother. Although we have only attended two sessions, we are already planning on taking another class. I feel like I have learned so much. As an added bonus, each student receives a small recipe binder to store the learned recipes as well as old favorites. We also get to sample gourmet food from different regions of Italy. Wine pairings are also discussed at the classes. We truly have alot of fun in addition to perfecting our cooking techniques. This class was definitely worth the price.

Check with your local culinary school to find out if classes are offered to people outside of the school's student body. Most schools have online resources as well.
