the Price of Voice Lessons

Last month, I began taking voice lessons. The lessons cost me fifty dollars an hour. I am currently meeting with my voice instructor for two hours a week for a total cost of one hundred dollars a week. This month, the total cost of the lessons was 400 dollars. I did not pay any additional gratuities for this service.

I am satisfied with the service. I think I am getting exactly what I am paying for. The lessons are very inexpensive. I feel my singing has gotten a bit better this month but it is not amazing progress by any means. However, it is worth noting that I decided to do this activity merely for the fun of it. I am not trying to become a professional singer.

I found the person that I hired from a local newspaper advertisement. I was looking for someone with a moderate level of experience. I did not spend too much time talking to the instructor before deciding to take the lessons. Just make sure the person you are hiring will not charge you a fine if you decide to discontinue the lessons early on in the process. If you are looking to become a professional singer, I would suggest being more picky than I was in choosing a teacher.
