the Price of Voice Lessons

The instructor is a music teacher trying to make some more moneysince, as we all know, music teachers - or any teacher for that matter - don't make enough money! She taught out of her home, where she has a piano. She is trained to sing opera and has taught students from ages five and up through senior citizens. She gave me material to practice at home. This price is for one hour of voice lessons.

The teacher was great. She's very friendly and obviously has a lot of experience teaching people of all ages and abilities. I really enjoyed working with her, especially because I was nervous about my abilities. I'm still not a great singer, but I feel much more confident than I did before I started lessons.

If you're nervous, make sure you are comfortable with your voice teacher. You definitely won't get anywhere if you're too scared to try singing. Also, just like with any music lesson, make sure that you are practicing. If your instructor gives you material to practice with, it is important that you do so! You can't get too far without practicing and just doing an hour a week or an hour every other week.
