I am a firm believer in making sure that my animals are either spayed or neutered. This is a great way to ensure that you won't be allowing your animal make unwanted extra's. My kitten was almost one, when we had her spayed. I really think that it's easier for the animal, if you do it while they are still small. First, I made an appointment with our vet, they advised me to bring my kitten in a pet carrier, so it would be easier to transport her. Once we got to the vet, we had to wait about 15 minutes for our turn. They gave my kitten a shot, to help her with the pain, after that the procedure lasted about 30 minutes.
Review of Service
My vet was great. They were extremely gentle, and very friendly. Their office was very clean. My kitten was still medicated when they brought her out to me, but she was fine. My vet said that she wouldn't be needing anymore medicine, and that she would probably sleep for several hours. My kitten actually slept for about 6 hours straight. She was completely healed, with-in about 3 days.
Tips
Always take your animal to a vet that you trust. If you don't already have one, it is a good idea to ask other people that you know that have an animal.
