the Price of a Deep Tissue Massage

I paid $150 for an hour long deep tissue massage. I also tipped 15 dollars which brought the total to $165.

This was an excellent massage. I've gotten other massages before and paid a lot less but this experience showed me that sometimes you really do get what you pay for. The massager was very confident and obviously very experienced.

Typically when I get massages my biggest complaint is that the person doing the massaging are constantly talking or otherwise taking me out of my meditative state. This woman was very good about keeping quiet and letting me enjoy myself. She also responded very well to requests for her to massage harder, softer, higher, lower, etc.

My only complain would be that the receptionist at the place I had the massage done was a little unprofessional. She was dressed like she was about to go out for a night on the town with her girlfriends. I felt that for such an upscale place that was a little bit inappropriate.

Try to find someone who responds well to you giving directions - and be sure to do so! Sometimes it really is worth it to pay a little bit extra for that special touch.
