Description of service
We went on Friday and sat up the tents and got everything out of the van. After setting up and getting all the kids something to eat we went across to the lake and were able to rent a boat for us to take the kids out on the lake. We paid the $60 for the camp site for the three nights we stayed. The boat was $55 for 4 hours plus the gas which was another $15. We got to take the kids fishing and tubing off the boat. We took the boat back and then we took the kids back to the site to make dinner and a camp fire.
The next day we took the kids to play miniature golf and bike riding. We pack a lunch and took the kids hiking and we ate on the trail. When we got back to the camp site the kids wanted to go play with the other kids in the camp ground. The next day we went horseback riding and then took the kids swimming at the pool and then we went back to the camp site for dinner.
Review of Service
We loved it there and can not wait to go back. There was so much to do that we was not able to do it all in the 3 days we was there. My kids had a blast and they got to meet children from other states. This is something I am sure we will have to do again next year. The rangers were very helpful with everything from getting us to our camp site to showing us the bathrooms. The park was very clean and well kept.
Tips
Going camping is a great way to spend time with the family. This is a very well kept park that has a lot to offer. All kinds of fun for all ages. Something that your kids will talk about for a long time. You are able to find state parks online but when you find one that you would like to go to call and get better information.
