the Price of Camping in a State Park

My family and me recently went camping at the state park near the river here in Kentucky. We paid a total charge of twenty five dollars for each campsite that we rented per night that we stayed. This charge gave us a regular size campsite, access to the restrooms and showers that were on the site, there was also a swimming pool that was there on the site that guests were allowed access to. We also paid a six percent sales tax on the total cost of the rental. There was a golf driving range at the campground that we were allowed to use for an additional fee as well.

The restrooms were clean and all in working order, there was a lifeguard on duty at the pool on the site, the customer service individual that I talked to on the phone was very nice and knew what she was talking about! The campground also had security there that drove around at dusk on golf carts to make sure that guests were following the lights out rule and also to assure that everyone was able to sleep well. I really liked this feeling of security!

Go with the State Parks when you are going camping! You will not be dissapointed! I know that my family had a great time! Also, pack lots of bug spray!!!
