the Price of Camping in a State Park

We went camping for the weekend and had a great time. For $50 we got a nice size camp site with a tree and fire pit for two nights. We was able to take the kids on a guided canoe tour for $10 per person. They had a pool that the kids liked to go swimming in. The kids got to ride bikes with the other kids in the camp ground and go to the park that was not to far from the site. We took them hiking and had a picnic as we hiked. When we came back from hiking we took the kids to the putt putt course. They had hourseback riding but we missed it.

There was so much to do but we did not have the time to do it all. The prices for the services they offered was not bad at all. Some where free but most you had to pay for. The rangers there was nice and gave us a map to show where everything was. We was not to far from a play ground for the kids or the bathrooms. It was a very large state park and kept very clean. There was workers out cleaning both days we was there. We was very happy with our stay and can not wait to go again.

Taking the family camping is a great and fun way to spend time together. This is something that your kids can share with their kids when they are older. You can find state parks every where but to make sure you get the best one look online and when you fine it call. It is best to call to see what they offer for children of you have any. Most of the state parks offer the same services but if you want to make sure they have what you are wanting to do then you must call.
