Description of service
This past fall I got a vasectomy at a local urology clinic. After fathering five children I felt it was time to have this procedure done. One of my main concerns was the pain and the money. Well, the money wasn't that bad at all. Turns out there are dozens of government programs that will pay for your vasectomy. I didn't even have to use my insurance from work! I had to go in for a pre-visit, schedule my surgery and then follow up six weeks after that. All of this was free.
Review of Service
I really can't say anything good about this service. Of coarse, the surgery was a success (my six week follow up proved that I no longer produced) so I was happy to know that I wouldn't have to go through the pain again. The nurses were nice, and the doctor was comforting. I have no complaints. I would recommend this doctor to a friend for sure.
Tips
While this procedure is reversable, the possibility of the reversal working is very slim, so make sure that you are 100% sure that you no longer want to have children. Also, the thing I was worried about the most was the pain, and to tell the truth it didn't hurt that much at all.
