the Price of a Vasectomy

This service was for a vasectomy I had done at an Ashland, Kentucky hospital. The actual procedure was quick and easy, but I had to have a pre-screen visit before I could actually get the procedure done. The pre-screen visit was included in the price with everything else. The total cost of everything, including the office visit, the actual procedure and the office visit afterwards to test if the procedure was successful was $497.

The service was great! The surgery was a success. I was really scared going into the surgery, I knew it there was going to be some pain but I didn't know how much. I was surprised by how little pain was actually involved. I was given pain medication after the surgery, but I didn't even use the whole perscription because there was no need to. Another thing I was scared of was the use of everything after the procedure was done, but I have no complaints, everything is good to go still.

The biggest tip I have been giving people is to not be scared. I was extremely scared, but it turned out to be all for nothing. I was put to sleep during the procedure, so I don't remember anything and there is only a little pain involved afterwards, which they give you pain killers to help deal with the pain.
