the Price of a Vasectomy

After my wife had my 6th child I felt that something had to be done. I found a government program that was able to pay for the whole vasectomy which made it easier to get it done. I had to go in for a pre office visit where I watched a video of what they would be doing to me and then a week later I went in for the vasectomy. I walked in and they gave me a pill to take the edge off and the next thing I know I was waking up in a small room. I never felt any pain until I tried to get up. The nurse came in and told me I was all done and I could leave here in about a hour. They gave me some pain medicine for when I went home and went ahead and scheduled a post office visit where I had to have my sperm counted.

I was very pleased with the doctors work and how nice his nurses was to me and my wife. I was in and out and home within a hour in a half. They do everything they could to make me happy after the surgery. When I went back for my post office visit the doctor was pleased with how thing went and that I was good to go with a zero percent sperm count.

If you are not able to afford it there are programs out there to help. You may call you local hospital to see if they are able to help with that and if not your doctor office should be able to help. If you are looking into get a vasectomy a good thing to do is read up on it.
