Description of service
There was a hole in the bottom of my boat, a pretty small hole, but it was getting pretty annoying. So I took it to a local boat repair shop, they patched it up.
Review of Service
Well, my boat works rather well right now. No more filling up with water. $40 seemed like a fair price. I could have probably done it myself, but this way it's professional :)
The service was very nice. The job got done rather quick. I hauled my boat in on Monday, got fixed by Wednesday. I am extremely impressed with that.
I was thinking of buying a new boat actually (this one was getting pretty old), but now that it's fixed I guess I will have to wait a bit. It works really well, I take it out to a nearby lake and to Orchard Beach, sometimes go fishing, sometimes just relax.
Tips
If you have time buy a boat repair kit. If you are busy, look for a boat repair shop.
Also, there are tons of books available if you have the time to read, which deal with fixing boats, and other similar objects. They can be very useful. Always carry one around, just in case you are in the middle of a lake and your boat breaks down :D
