Description of service
My boat has been taking in water as well as the extra outboard/trolling motor has not been working in about two years, so i felt that it was about time to finally get it looked at and fixed. The leak in my boat wound up needing some fiber glass to repair the small hole. I opted not to get the paint touched up after they had to sand in order for the fiber glass to grip because it was at the bottom of the boat where you couldn't see the repair. I also had to have the inner workings of the outboard/trolling motor which cost around $350. This was an extremely cheap fix considering how expensive I have heard some of my friends boat repairs and maintenance have been.
Review of Service
I drove the boat up to the shop and they wrote down all of what was to be repaired to make sure that it was all going to get done. They were very friendly and it only took about two weeks for the repair. It can easily take up to a month to get some of these repairs done, so I was very happy to have my boat for the summer.
Tips
If possible it is always good to shop around when it comes to boat repairs because there is always someone who would love to shaft you out of your money.
