Description of service
During a recent river trip I scraped bottom, doing minor damage to the bottom. They charged me for repair, preperation and paint of the bottom. They charged me $85.00 a hour labor for 6 hours. They also charged me Forklift time of $110.00 an hour for 2 hours and parts and paint $175.00.
Review of Service
These guys are the best dealer to deal with in Western PA. We've never had a bad time dealing with them and they bendo over backwards to help us get what we want. They have a good selection and a good staff that knows alot about boating and what we need for different situations. Their service department is really good too - plus the prices are all great compared to some of the other dealers we've dealt with in the past. They do not dummy up repairs. They do repairs the right way the first time. I highly recommemd them for any boat repair.
Tips
The condition of your hull does matter when obtaining an estimate for botttom repair and painting. Remember most boat repair shops do not offer free storage so be prepared to remove your boat as soon as it is repaired. Also alot of repair places have seasonal promotional prices.
