the Price of Flute Lessons

I was new to flute and this was the first time i was playing a flute. Initially i was asked for $50 per hour but finally it was decided that i would pay $40 per hour and would be held three days a week. I was to receive personal one on one lessons. The timings were quite flexible. I attended those classes for about three weeks.

The service i recieved was extremely good. My teacher was very experienced and knew how to deal with a beginner like me. He spent the entire first week in teaching me various techniques, that did not include actually playing the flute. The only thing i did not like was that sometimes the classes were not one on one; the teacher would sometimes teach two students simultaneoulsy, to which i did object.

The most important thing is that the daily duration of the class must be decided before hand. Also you should make sure that you get the teacher's personal attention and he never combines your class with that of anyone else. Try for some trial classes before finally joing any institute as taht would give you a valuable insight into the teacher's methodology of teaching and decide accordingly.
