One hour taught by an accomplished flute player in the Dayton, OH area. Teacher works on technical, tone, and expressive aspects of playing. The teacher also gives insight into types of flutes to buy when upgrading and contest preparation.
Review of Service
Great teacher. Only spend the money if you are serious about flute playing. For younger students you should spend around 10 to 20 dollars for a half hour. I would not recommend spending more unless your child is unusually talented or you have the money to spend. The teacher is knowledgeable on all types of literature and does a great job motivating students.
Tips
Make sure you find a teacher who works with your personality and motivates you. Many teachers out there are just in it for the money and would rather be performing. Private lesson teachers are usually out to make money on the side but some of them really care about their students and their progress. Make sure you find the right teacher for the job. Your local music store, band director or other students at the school can help you find a good teacher. Ask around about the teacher before you start paying the money for your child to take lessons
