the Price of Flute Lessons

I paid $35 per flute lesson. The normal cost of $25 per lesson but i had to pay extra since i opted for private lessons and the teacher came to my place every alternate day. The classes were held thrice a week. The duration of each class was one hour.

The service that i received was quite good. The teacher was himself an established flute player and a very good teacher as well. However, the teacher lacked punctuality. I continued my flute lessons for three weeks when i realized that though the service was very good, but the price was too much.

I think that the service was good, but definitely not worth the price.

I would strongly recomment everyone to go in for private lessons. The semi private lessons or the ones in a group do not help a lot, especially for introvert type of students. There is a great difference in each student's learning ability and you will definitely understand better in private lessons.

Try to coax the teacher into giving you two or three trial classes free of cost. This would give you an insight into the teacher's teaching technique and you can then judge whether to opt for that particular teacher or not.
