Description of service
My lessons were held once a week at a local community center, and lasted for two hours a session. The $35 paid for one instructor, and I was in a class with about twelve other participants. We learned some of the basics of dance, then went into jazz technique. The duration of the class was about three months.
Review of Service
The venue for the class was a little small and dark for our purposes - it felt crowded all the time, even though it was probably fine. The instructor was very young and very chipper. It was a pleasure to go to class under her guidance, since she was very helpful with technique, and very friendly. In fact, I still talk to her. I made good friends with my classmates as well. It was definitely an experience worth my $35.
Tips
Definitely ask around about instructors. My instructor was nice enough not to accept payment until the second class period after starting, so we knew whether we wanted to continue, but others might not do the same. Chances are, if your friends have had a good experience, they'll let you in on the secret, so don't be afraid to ask them - it's how I found this class.
