Description of service
I paid a flat rate of 100 dollars per month, which includes going to dance lessons twice per week. I can pick whichever days I want based on the schedule of the studio itself. Taxes are included. The only materials required are the ones I wish to buy- outfits and the like. Each lesson lasts one hour.
Review of Service
I was extremely impressed by the quality of the services offered. While I was initially wary about paying what amounted to less the fifteen dollars a lesson, I found the teachers knowledgeable, and incredibly willing to work with me where I was at- they determined the level of ability of each student in the class and managed to find a way to facilitate us all being challenged without becoming discouraged from not being able to keep up.
Tips
Most dance studios will allow you to take a free class. Some will even give you a free month's worth of classes if you're polite and are sincerely interested. Use the time well- go to different classes with different instructors and see if you can find one who you 'click' with-- who will work with you and who you feel you can learn from. Once you've found a schedule that works, don't go all out at first buying dance equipment. Make sure it's something you like and are going to stick with for the long term.
