the Price of Jazz Dance Lessons

Price is for one couple to attend one month of group lessons lasting one hour. There were 10 couples in the class. I took this class mainly because my wife wanted to, in preparation for an upcoming trip to a resort with a ballroom. The class covered basic jazz dance steps, and how to move to the rhythm of the music. As the class progressed more advanced steps were taught. There were no breaks during the class.

The instructor had a good level of patience, and was very good at not only imparting the technical aspects of jazz dance to us, but also did a good job of making us 'feel the dancing' as well. The downside was that the instructor would sometimes get frustrated if we got tired, or took longer than he thought we should in order to learn the dances. In that way, it was almost like he was channeling an Eastern Bloc gymnastic coach. He would get especially peeved at this one couple who always showed up 5 to 10 minutes late, but that was ok for the rest of us, because they were cutting into the class time we paid for.

Guys, I know this sounds like it won't be fun, but it is not half bad... and besides, you girl will definitely appreciate it.
