Description of service
the $300/month was consisted of meetings (twice per week), nutrition counseling, as well as a couch to contact for support during those tough times.
Review of Service
Overall, the service was good, it was extrememly helpful when it was used. There was a lot of emotional counseling to help develop self esteem, and talk me out of going after the large chocolate sundae. The problem I encountered was keeping it going for an extended amount of time, the cost was a major factor is discontinueing the service. The unspoken cost also involved revamping my refrigerator, by getting foods that were supported by the program. The program worked great for someone who was single, but it didn't help those who had a family. I would have to prepare food for the family and then for myself, and never the two shall meet. It was extrememly difficult to continue the program once I was away from the support group and the nutrition counseling.
Tips
I wish I had known what the total cost was going to be. This would have included not only the cost of the program, but the cost of the food (purchased seperately from what my family bought), as well as the emotional cost of not eating with the rest of my family. I should have known that this would be a longer commitment than what I made it.
