the Price of a Mouth Guard

I got a mouth guard created for me from the dentist. I was grinding and clenching my teeth a lot at night and needed something to help me because it was so bad for my teeth. Not only was it damaging my teeth, but I was also waking up with a really bad headache from the clenching. And I kept having dreams about my teeth crumbling, which my dentist said was because of the tooth grinding.

The dentist took a mold of my teeth and sent it out to a lab to be made into a mouth guard. I got it about two weeks later and started wearing it.

The dentist was great and I felt like this was something that really needed to happen and not just a way for them to make money off of me. I wish it hadn't been so expensive but it seemed to work much better than the ones that you can buy at the drugstore and do yourself, so I suppose I got what I paid for.
