Description of service

I got a mouth guard from the dentist. They also provide regular dental cleanings, exams, x-rays, diagnostics, fillings, emergency dental care, fitting mouth guards, fitting bridges, fitting retainers, molds, etc.

Review of Service

I hated this office, and I will never go back there again. I had a terrible toothache and my jaw was hurting. When I went to the dentist, they told me it was because I was grinding my teeth at night, and they fitted me for a mouth guard. I had to pay out-of-pocket for the mouthguard, and it was well-fitted to me. I brought it home with me and was eager to try it out that night. I was still waking up in the night with horrible mouth pain and jaw pain. I tried it for about a week, and it did no good whatsoever. I went to another dentist, and when I opened my mouth, they discovered I needed a root canal--that is why my mouth and jaw hurt. I was grinding my teeth at night, but it was more clenching because of pain. I basically spent $40 on something I had no need or use for.

Tips

Ask a lot of questions. If you have never been a tooth-grinder in the past, chances are, you are not grinding your teeth now. If you are grinding your teeth now, see if there is a reason why you would suddenly start doing it.
