Description of service
After a bad car accident I started having trouble with the bite of my teeth. This ultimatly caused me to grind my teeth at night this caused severe jaw pain. I went to my regualar dentist and he referred me to another dentist who specializes in temporomandibular joint malfuction(TMJ).I took his advice and saw a specialist who then fitted me for a mouth guard. This process consist of several adjustments after a molding of your mouth is made to create the mouth guard. The total cost for fees, taxes, adjustments, and office visits was $1,800. To get the right fit for my mouth guard this took a total of six office visits.
Review of Service
The service was excellent. The dentist and his staff were true professionals. My appointments were always taken on time and I was treated with great care and respect. I have a busy schedule and the appointment time was impotant to me. The office visists where for the most part short. My jaw pain has greatly improved since wearing the mouth guard which I was instructed to wear every night.
Tips
I suggest finding a dentist who specializes in TMJ. Don't skip any appointments for the adjustments. The more the mouth guard is adjusted, the best it will fit as your bite will shift inbetween visits. Do follow your dentist orders. The more you wear your mouth guard, the better you will feel.
