the Cost of Long Distance Movers

The description was a moving service via truck from East Lansing, MI to Pittsburgh, PA. The company gave us a storage device for a weekend, which we loaded up with stuff from our college apartment that we needed to move back home. Then, a truck came on Monday to pick it up, and delivered wherever we wanted it to. Very easy and convienient service.

We were very pleased with the service. Much cheaper than actually hiring full-service movers to do the work. Also, cheaper from the research we did than renting a truck. I love the concept of renting the storage unit to fill up, and having a truck come and pick it up for you and take it where you want it. It is a win-win idea. It saves money for the consumer, and the company can make it worthwhile because they can pick up 15 or so units per truck and move more at once. If you rent one truck per mover then you are spending a ton in gas. Better for everybody this way.

My tip would be to look into a moveable storage unit system instead of renting a truck. Usually comes out more economical.
