the Price of an Oil Change

I had an oil change done on my car, which included a change of oil, change of oil filter, change of air filter, and lubricated main joints and bearings. I also bought my tires from this mechanic, and he rotates the tires for free when I bring it in for an oil change as part of his service to those who buy tires from him.

Service was prompt and professional. My vehicle was taken in the garage immediately when I arrived and service was done right away, only took about 15 minutes. Mechanic noticed a couple other minor problems with vehicle that he made recommendations about free of charge.

I would recommend finding a reliable mechanic to use regularly for all repairs and also use that mechanic for minor things, like oil changes. I don't ever use "quick lube" places, they often hire mechanics who have little mechanical experience and can be unreliable. Inexperienced mechanics can over look simple tasks easier, like remembering to refill the motor oil after draining the old oil. Driving a vehicle this way will seize the motor in only a couple of miles, which causes hundreds of dollars worth of damage. Find a mechanic you trust and take your car there for everything, little or big.
