Description of service
I purchased a regular service oil change for $30, and spent an extra $10 by upgrading to the "second-best" quality oil (out of three qualities total). The other $10 was comprised of extra fees (such as labor). The employees at the oil change place filled up my car fluids for me, and vacuumed the floorboards of my car. They also washed the windows.
Review of Service
I feel that this price is a little high. A long time resident of my home town who owns a gas station/car maintenance shop changes my oil for $30 when I visit home. However, the employees at the franchise I visited were quick, courteous, and professional. Overall, it was a good experience.
Tips
When you go to franchise car maintenance places, be careful what you end up buying! Many of the employees will try to sell you things your car doesn't actually need. It's usually best to tell them "no" and wait until a mechanic or a friend can look at the "problem". Once an employee at one franchise-type store told me I needed new windshield wipers - I had just changed them 2 weeks earlier and it had only rained once. I just laughed at him.
