the Price of an Oil Change

The service performed was a routine oil change. I also brought my car in to have the mechanic check my breaks because they were making noise. The mechanic changed the oil and the oil filter. While doing this the mechanic also checked the air filter which did not need changing. After finishing with the oil the mechanic checked my breaks which did not need to be fixed or changed.

I was very happy with this service. the mechanic i went to did not try to push anything on me or try to sell me something I did not need. He showed me the air filter and explained why it did not need to be changed (there was only a small about of dirt on it). THe mechanic also showed me the condition of my breaks and told me what to look for when breaks need changing. Overall I was very satisfied with this service and feel like I was treated fairly and not forced to buy needless items.

I like getting my oil changes at smaller stores that are not associated with a chain. In my experience these types of stores do not try to sell you extra items - although I do not know if this is true for every store. Also I recommend going to have your oil changed early in the morning before too many people arrive and there is a line.
