the Price of DVD Rentals

I went to a local business to rent a movie that had just been released on DVD, I was surprized to find alot of the movies actually available and on the shelf and business in the store appeared to be very slow. It was over the weekend which makes it odd, since that's when most people have more time to rent movies. It had a two day return policy (believe it's normally five days) because it was a new release.

I enjoyed the movie and it was worth the price to me to be able to see it so quickly. The reviews of the movie were good and the DVD lived up to my expectations. The service where I rented the DVD was quick, not alot of business in the store so I was in and out very quickly.

With the rising cost of going to the movies I am certain more and more people will rent movies and stay at home, it's just too expensive. If you have a big screen TV and some popcorn, you can enjoy the movie either way. The cost to rent a movie is minimla when compared with going to the movies for an evening for a couple of people.
