Description of service
Over the Halloween weekend, my wife and I decided to go to the local video store and rent a DVD of a movie we had not seen in years that we both liked. We called ahead and they stated it was in stock and offered to hold it for us behind the counter. We drove the 20 minutes there, went to the counter, rented the film they held for us, and went home. It was due back today, so I dropped it off on my way to work this morning.
Review of Service
I was really impressed with how nice the sales associates were at the rental store. They answered the phone promptly and were really bubbly and nice. They were willing to get the DVD off the floor and hold it for us, which is unheard of now days. When we got there, they talked to us about the movie itself and did not pressure us to get more DVDs or candy and stuff. It was smooth and easy.
Tips
Definitely call ahead to see if the movie is in stock, or you run the risk of wasting your time and gasoline going to the store only to find the movie you want is not there. It can never hurt to ask if they can hold the DVD for you if they do not offer. Be sure you return the DVD on time, or you will get stuck with fees.
