the Price of DVD Rentals

The service I paid for was the rental of three DVD's for three nights, and the DVD's were considered brand new releases by the rental store where I bought them. The service was part of a special offer that was being offered by the local rental store.

The service was great, because of many factors. The upkeep of the movies themselves was very good, as there were no scratches or problems with the movies when I played them. The people at the store were also very helpful with suggesting a movie I could rent provided I tell them my likes and dislikes in films. The movies were fun to watch and the fact that I did not have to rewind or go anywhere to see them made the service even better. Nowadays, I consider going to the movies to be an expensive night out, and buying movies to watch them once or twice is not a very smart investment. This is why I am a fan of renting DVD's, because you can watch the movies as many times as you would like in a given time period for half the cost of the movies. Combine that with being in the comfort of your own home, and you can see the value of services like this.

My tip is to rent movies before you buy them offhand, if you find that you are constantly being disappointed by the movies you purchase, maybe it is time to rent them before you buy so you know what you are getting. Also, take advantage of any offers that rental stores give out as there are quite a few considering the new competition with online movie rentals.
